ALEX ENGLISH | Managing Director & Co-Founder

Alex English formed 908 Group along with co-founder Justin Wilson in 2006. As Managing Director and Investment Committee Co-Chair, Alex oversees development execution team management, product evolution & user experience, project design, marketing & branding, and construction management.  In 2006, the Tampa Bay Business Journal named Alex to its prestigious annual 30 Under 30 awards.

Alex spent his youth in the inner-city Houston area, earning early accolades as decorated high school and collegiate athlete. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business from the highly accredited College of Business at the University of Wyoming where he also achieved 1st Team All-Mountain West Conference football honors as a Kick-Returner as well as a Receiver for the Cowboys.

After concluding his career as an athlete, Alex began an active interest in real estate development investment while remaining in the sports industry as a marketing executive with Palace Sports and Entertainment, owners/operators of the NBA’s Detroit Pistons, the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning with whom he had the honor of winning an NHL Stanley Cup Championship.

Alex and family currently reside in South Tampa with twin sons, Jett & Grey.  His personal interests include flag football, modern art and collecting vintage automobiles and sneakers.
